This privacy policy explains how Luise Faran, operated by LIBERTY VERTEX LTD, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or place an order. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Data we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address, billing address, telephone number and the details of the products you buy. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment providers and are never stored on our servers. When you browse our website we also collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit, through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to process and deliver your orders, to send you order confirmations and delivery updates, to answer your enquiries and handle returns, to prevent fraud, to improve our website and, only with your consent, to send you our newsletter. Our legal bases are the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business, our legal obligations and, where applicable, your consent.
3. Sharing your data
We share your data only with the service providers we need to run the store: Shopify, which hosts our website and processes orders; our payment providers; the couriers who deliver your parcel; and the tracking service we use to keep you informed. Each of them processes your data only on our instructions and in line with the law. We never sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies that make the website and checkout work, and, with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies that help us understand how the site is used and show relevant advertising. 6. How long we keep your data
We keep order data for as long as required by UK tax and accounting law, currently six years after the end of the relevant financial year. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Technical data is kept for a shorter period appropriate to its purpose.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. 8. Security
Our website is protected by SSL encryption and payments are handled by PCI DSS compliant providers. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
9. Children
Our website is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
